One of the modern touches for weddings, is the save the date card. In the past, you did not know about the wedding until the invitations were sent out. However, now the couple gives you a heads up that they are getting married so you won’t make other plans for that date. Kate and Ben had an intimate photo shoot in Bristol, United Kingdom specifically to get photos for their save the date card.
Ben and Kate wore neural tone sweaters that blended well with the environment. They used props to emphasize the purpose for the photo shoot. There wore boots that said save the date and had the date of the wedding on the soles. They had paper hearts that said save the date and also had the date of wedding on them as well. But our favorite was the one with their dog wearing a paper heart necklace with the date of the wedding. It was an absolutely adorable picture.
In this mini engagement session besides using the props, Kate and Ben did a lot of what other couples “in love” do. They hugged, they held hands and they gazed lovingly at each other. They plan to use these pictures for their save the date cards but the photos are so special that they will be cherished with the rest of the wedding pictures in years to come.
