Alberta Canada Real Wedding By Milton Photography
Jessica and Damien just love the 50''s. As a result, they wanted their wedding to have a vintage feeling while also reflecting their love for the 50's. They tied the knot at St. Mark's Church in Alberta, Canada and the simplicity of the building help set the tone for their nuptials. First let's look at the bride. She wore a beautiful A-line strapless lace gown. Instead of a long veil, she wore netting over her head. Her jewelry choices were perfect. She wore post earrings with a necklace. Her bouquet was not an elaborate bunch of colorful flowers but her arrangement had only white flowers. Damien's outfit also fit the era. He wore a black tuxedo with narrow lapels which is reminiscent of the 50's era. He also slicked his hair back which was a popular style for young men a that time
Besides their outfits, they took pictures at various locations in order continue their theme. They went to an amusement park and took pictures by the Ferris wheel, an old Coca Cola sign and a building that resembled an old movie theatre. But our favorite was their ride in the horse draw carriage. It was so romantic. Damian and Jessica showed that it is not hard to plan your wedding around a theme. You don't have to have each item fit but you can make it happen by simply adding a few elements, it can help make your day more cohesive. Do you have a favorite era? Do you have a favorite color? Did you both go to the same college? It does not matter what you would like use as your theme, it can be done. This is your day and it should reflect what is important to you.
