Boone Hall Plantation Elopement
After beginning the process of planning a wedding, it is not uncommon for the happy couple to consider simply running away and getting married. We want to share some photos from Jen and John's elopement. Everything was simply incredible. They travelled from Pennsylvania to Charleston, South Carolina to tie the knot. Their wedding took place at the Boone Hall Plantation which has a rich history that dates back to 1681.
Jen wore a beautiful A-line sleeveless gown. She did not wear a lot jewelry. She selected blue shoes instead of white ones. John complemented her with a blue/gray suit. He wore a checkered blue/gray tie. They exchanged their vows on the cotton dock overseeing the marsh. They did not have throngs of their friends and family. It was just them. But this is what they wanted. They really took advantage of this magnificent venue. There were so many breathtaking backdrops to choose from. Normally when a couple decides to elope, it is not organized. But for John and Jen it was totally different. They showed that you don't have to sacrifice quality because you prefer to elope. It is your big day so you should scrap tradition and do what makes you happy.
