Country Engagement Session

Engagement sessions are truly a personal event.  You get to select the clothes and the venue to convey the feeling that you want to evoke. Kendall and Colby wanted a country feel so it was only natural that they selected her family's farm in Alberta as the location for their shoot.

They dressed very simply which fit their style perfectly. She wore a white dress with a jacket and he wore a checkered shirt with jeans.

During their country engagement session, they used the natural surroundings as well as props to give their photos variety. Their props included a barn as well as a big yellow pick up. But our favorite pictures are the ones where they are simply gazing into each other's eyes. They were simply breathtaking.

Kendall and Colby proved that you don't need a fancy venue or fancy clothes to have a spectacular country engagement session. You need a vision. You need a plan. If you select the right clothes and location, it will all come together naturally.
