Frida Kahlo Inspired Styled Shoot
When you are planning a wedding, it is your day and your inspiration can be derived from any source. It can be a movie, a favorite color, a person or even a place. We have a Frida Kahlo inspired styled shoot that we hope will give you ideas if you decide to model your nuptials based on a specific idea.
The place setting was wonderful. The plates had gold overlay with gold silverware. The centerpieces were modeled after the bride's bouquet. The groom wore that most striking suit. It was blue striped and he had a pink pocket square to add some color. This session is very unique. Frida Kahlo de Rivera was a Mexican painter who was known for her self portraits. She used colors and angles to give her pictures versatility. Our bride is dressed in long flowing sleeveless gown. Her hair is done in a braid that is wrapped around the top of her head. She had a floral headpiece also which made her head form a nest. Her bouquet was a cornucopia which matched the arrangement in her hair. Her ensemble resembled one of Ms. Kahlo's famous paintings. This shoot shows how you can take a picture as a theme and plan your day around it. It makes your planning more fun and it can actually make it easier. Be inspired and bring your dream to life on your wedding day.
