Heartfelt Southern Mississippi Wedding
It has happened to most people at least once. A person passes and you have to do a double take. Most of the time, you never get to meet the person. This happened to Katie when she first saw Glen in high school. She was in 10th and he was in 11th. They eventually met and the rest is history. They tied the knot at the historic Grass Lawn in Gulfport, Mississippi. Grass Lawn was the perfect venue for this southern wedding. The property was originally 235 acres when the building was first constructed in 1836. Over the years, some of the acreage was sold and the building was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. A new one was built to preserve the historic significance. The history of this property is like their relationship since they originally became acquainted with each other in high school. Katie looked like a true southern belle in her gown. It was strapless and we just love how the bottom was shaped like a bell..It was very romantic and vintage. Her bridesmaids wore beige gowns with one sleeve. It was a very chic look. Katie and Glen exchanged their vows under the oak trees. It was incredible. The reception was then held indoors and outdoors. They danced the night away under the lights. Our favorite part was definitely the cake. It had multiple layers and was very unique. They had the wedding of their dreams. The venue helped to set the tone for their southern nuptials. The location of your wedding is critical to making your dream a reality on your big day. The plans will all fall into place if you select the right place. Be creative, dream and your fantasy will be realized.
