Honolulu Hawaii Engagement Photos
They grew up together in San Francisco, California. JJ always liked Janny but did not have the guts to tell her. In 2005, it appeared that his love would never be realized when she moved away to New York. They lost touch but believe it or not, the World Series in 2010 helped them reconnect. JJ had traveled with friends to New York and miraculously their picture ended up on the front page. The friendship with Janny was rekindled. After texting and flying back and forth coast to coast, JJ finally told Janny how he felt. She eventually moved back to San Francisco and now they are getting married. Here are some of there Honolulu Hawaii engagement photos by Christina Heaston Photography Since this engagement session took place in Hawaii, you would expect their photo shoot to be mostly on the beach but it isn't. It takes place in front of a very artistic wall. We just love the colors. Their outfits complement the backdrop perfectly. She is wearing a cute yellow dress and he is wearing jeans with a checked shirt and colorful tie.
But that wasn't all that they used to make their session unique. They used very unique props. They had a globe in one, an umbrella in another and my personal favorite were the two books that they held up that said New York and San Francisco. This represented where they were living when they reconnected. This couple just proves the point that engagement sessions are completely and totally up to the individual's style. They only wore one outfit but because of the props and multiple settings, you don't feel that way. Each prop and/or setting gives you a glimpse into another side of their personalities. Go and ahead and plan a fun day with your fiancé but don't forget to invite a photographer along. You will get the most amazing images. This is essentially what an engagement session is so don't leave it out of your wedding plans. It will probably be one of the few times during the engagement season that you can let her hair down and simply relax. You don't want to miss out on this great experience.
