Magnolia Plantation and Gardens Engagement

It really makes engagement sessions more memorable and easier if the couple adds some of themselves to the event. Tenille and Chris are self proclaimed outdoor junkies so it was appropriate for them to showcase nature during their engagement session. They held their shoot at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens in Charleston, South Carolina.

While the entire session was amazing, we really enjoyed the photos of Tenille in the orange maxi dress and Chris in the shirt and slacks. They looked like they were on a deserted island. They walked hand in hand along the water in their bare feet. These photos were so romantic.

They first met while working in Argentina. They did not get together until a few years later. During their relationship, they have travelled to 60 countries. They have even taken their rescue pups with them on their adventures.

While wardrobe changes are not mandatory for an engagement shoot, it does add variety to your shots. Tenille and Chris changed numerous times and each outfit allowed them get more unique poses. They even included their pups in some of the shots.

It is important for you to take a part in planning your engagement session. If you are a part of the planning, then the execution is more effective. You want to get good candid pictures of the two of you. It is much easier if you somewhere you like, doing something you like to do and wearing clothes that you have specially selected. Your session will be a success and your photos will be wonderful.
