Mountain Top Bride & Groom
Mountain Top Bride & Groom.
When planning a wedding, one of the things that you consider are the colors. You might select them based on the season or even because of preference. However, white is rarely the color of choice. We feel that if done correctly that this color can help you have an elegant affair. We have a styled shoot from British Columbia that we hope will provide some inspiration. This shoot takes place on Grouse Mountain. The backdrop of the snowy peaks and snow drizzled in the trees was magnificent. It provided the perfect contrast in color to bring out the beauty of the setting and create stunning pictures. Now, the bride and groom truly looked like part of a canvas. She wore a gorgeous strapless gown with a white fur jacket. He looked very sophisticated in his black tuxedo. The boutonniere as well as the bouquet had amazing red blooms which just brightened up the photos. In other pictures, they used the natural props such as the ski lift to give their photos variety. It is incredible how the base color of white could have produced such a wonderful setting by the addition of a few elements as well as using what was already present. Their shoot shows how you can use a neutral color such as white as a foundation for your big day. Be inspired and think outside of the box. Our shoot was not elaborate so we hope that you also see that simple does not mean necessarily mean boring.
What a great way to end your wedding! This is the type of photo you'll look back on and it will bring back the memories of your adventure.
