Nautical Themed Styled Shoot
Ships Ahoy!!! Normally when a nautical theme is selected, there is a leaning towards a very preppy atmosphere. The clothes and the decor both match and are coordinated to tell the story. It has a masculine feeling. But we have a styled shoot from Salt Lake City, Utah that is nautical with a different flair. This styled shoot shows that nautical can be feminine and romantic. It took place at the Salt Lake City Marina which provided the perfect backdrop.
The props also helped to make the setting very special. The place setting is on a picture of a world map. The earth tones as well as the blue hues are spectacular. It looked like a simple setting but the picture just jumped out of the image. The centerpiece also matched the color scheme. Our bide wore a gorgeous strapless gown. She complemented it with amazing jewelry and wore her hair in a bun to the side of her head. Her groom wore a gray suit and white shirt. His ensemble blended in very well with his surroundings. We hope that this shoot has inspired you to think of nautical in a new way. You may like the nautical theme but are not too crazy about being preppy. Now you see that nautical and romantic can go hand in hand. Ships Ahoy!!
