Vintage North Carolina Engagement Photos
What really is vintage? It has no true definition and can be applied to a variety of surroundings. However, it is simply when someone appreciates and loves things from another era. Kristy and Matt both share this love so they wanted their engagement session to reflect this. Here are some of there amazing vintage North Carolina engagement photos captured by Love it Forever Photography. The main prop for their shot was a 1960 era car. They took pix next to it. They took pix with Kristy sitting in it. They took pix of it in the foreground and of it close up. Kristy and Matt even sat on the ground with the car behind them. Even though it was the only prop that was used, you knew the feeling that they were trying to convey. The other way that they captured the vintage feel was with their clothing. Matt did not change his outfit. He simply wore blue jeans and a collared shirt. Kristy on the other hand changed multiple times. She wore jeans in one and different dresses in other ones. Her hairstyle was also reminiscent of the late 50's or early 60's. But we feel that one thing that took their session over the top was the photographer's use of black and white pictures. The combination of the car, the outfits and seeing it in black and white just takes you back to another era. It was a nice touch. This engagement session may have been very simple but it is said something about what this couple likes. In fact, that's what an engagement session should do. It is an opportunity before the wedding for the couple to get some pictures that are fun and exemplify something that is important to them. It could be the venue or a theme such as Matt and Kristy. It really does not matter which you choose. It is important that you do it. Have fun planning it and then have fun seeing your plans come to life in pictures.
