Northern British Columbia Wedding
A marriage is really the union of two people. In some cases, the couple might be so different that everyone wonders how they got together in the first place. But they have formed a bond and it is amazing. Can you imagine creating that mystique on your wedding day? Ashley and Dan experienced that when they tied the knot in British Columbia.
Their venue was a barn. This would immediately evoke images of a western, country or even classic theme. Their nuptials were exactly the opposite. It was very chic. But like a marriage they blended two very different themes to create their dream wedding.
Well, let's start with the bride. Her sleeveless gown was incredible with its detailing. We really loved the straps. Her hair was worn to the side as her veil flowed down her back. Her bridesmaids wore beautiful peach lace gowns.
The groom and groomsmen looked amazing as well. Their suits were gray. Dan's tie was white while his groomsmen wore peach to match the bridesmaids. The entire bridal party was stunning. But the chic did not stop at the attire.
They had tulle draped from the rafters over the tables giving it a regal feeling. The centerpieces had white flowers and the table number cards were white as well. The cake was three layers but the decorations on it were definitely chic.
Dan and Ashley had their "posh" wedding in a barn. You would not think it was possible but they made it a reality. They showed that you can have the wedding of your dreams at any venue. It just takes a little bit of ingenuity.
