Phoenix Arizona Real Wedding
If you are planning an outdoor wedding, one of the biggest fears has to be the weather. It will force you to use an make alternative plan that usually does not come close to the original plan. Ann and Yi still had a spectacular wedding despite the wet stuff when they tied the knot in Phoenix, Arizona. Rainfall is not usually an issue in Arizona but it decided to fall on this wedding day. Fortunately for Ann and Yi, they had selected such a magnificent venue that the secondary plan really looked like an original one. They got married at the Arizona Biltmore Hotel. It was constructed in 1929 and it is one of only three luxury hotels in the world that were influenced by the architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. While Mr. Wright did not actually have anything to do with this building, his protege, Albert Chase McArthur was the one who designed it.
The next thing is the attire. But of course the centerpiece is Ann, the bride and she was absolutely stunning. She really resembled the actress, Julianne Moore because of her beautiful red hair. Ann's gown was strapless with a jeweled waistband. The skirt boasted a magnificent train. She complemented the ensemble with a simple necklace and hanging diamond earrings. She wore gold shoes. Her hair was in a bun to the side. She looked very classic, elegant yet chic.
The first thing that comes to mind is the size of the bridal party. There were seven brides maids and seven groomsmen. Yi and his groomsmen wore black tuxedos. Yi wore a white tie while the groomsmen wore black ones. The bridesmaids wore short black dresses. The reception was also very elegant. The table settings had gold table cloths with gold rimmed plates. The chairs had black cloth draped around them.
The wedding cake was perfect for their wedding. You would have expected an ornately designed cake but theirs was classic. It was just four geometric squares. It had a very classic look. They also had dragons which were also symbolic of Yi's heritage. It was wonderful that they were able to pay homage to his roots and still keep the affair elegant.
Ann and Yi were supposed to exchange their vows in the Paradise Garden but Mother Nature intervened. They were able to take advantage of the beautiful art deco architecture which provided a marvelous backdrop for their nuptials. Since the venue was amazing, they did not lose anything when they had to opt for an indoor ceremony. But if you are going to get married at a venue like this, the rest of the wedding needs to match. It has to be as elegant. This wedding definitely lived up to the majesty of the surroundings. Ann and Yi had to change their plans on their wedding day. For some couples, it would have been disastrous because there wasn't any contingency planning. Fortunately for Ann and Yi, their venue was gorgeous inside as well as outside. Therefore, they were still able to have a magnificent affair indoors. You can't depend on the weather. You pray and hope that everything will be OK. But if it isn't make sure that plan B is just a spectacular so that the weather can not ruin your wedding day.
