Southern Alabama Real Wedding
Everyone wants their wedding day to be special. Unfortunately, everyone does not have the money for an elaborate affair. An option is a do-it-yourself wedding. However, we know that many times this type of event is thought to be very simple. But Chris and Amanda took DIY to another level when they tied the knot in Hay Barn, Alabama. The DIY elements were seen throughout the day. They had a mini wheel barrel with handmade floral pieces that was accompanied by a message on a chalkboard. Amanda was absolutely stunning. She wore the most incredible lace gown with a matching headband. Her jewelry was a simple necklace with earrings. Her hair was styled in a bun to the side of her head. Chris and his groomsmen wore black suits with black bow ties. It was a very classic yet elegant look. Even though they had wonderful landscape in the background, you could almost forget that you were outside. The bridesmaids wore long pink gown. At the reception, they had fern centerpieces on the tables with signs signifying various countries on each table. It was a very original idea. Even their wedding cake was unique. This two layer cake was white but had chocolate drizzle that formed the shape of a map to match the event's theme. They had the cutest couple on top. Chris and Amanda showed that DIY does not mean simple or lacking in detail. Their wedding was absolutely fantastic. They showed that opting for DIY does not that you have to skimp on the level of sophistication. It is classic and still elegant. Be creative and plan the wedding of your dreams even if you have to do it yourself. Honestly, that might make it even more special since your handiwork will be seen throughout the day.
