St. Petersburg Florida Real Wedding
Simple and easy are recipes for success for a wedding. When the ceremony location is at or very close to the reception it makes planning and navigation much less stressful. Jeremy and Heather tied the knot in St. Petersburg, Florida and their guests just needed to go next door for the second part of the festivities. Bedsides the ease of the location, the affair was also very elegant which fit the venue choice. They also used the color theme of gold which gave it a luxurious feel. We have never seen a gown like Heather's before. It was strapless and had a piece of tulle that gathered on one shoulder. It was sophisticated and sexy. It came down to the middle of her back and she wore a veil. She also wore gold shoes. The groom and groomsmen wore black tuxedos with bow ties. The bridesmaids wore long gold gowns. It made the event very elegant. They exchanged their vows at a wonderful church but then the reception took place at a more upscale venue which took their nuptials to another level. It was the Vinoy Hotel and Resort which just happens to be right next door. The VInoy is a luxurious hotel that first opened on New Year's Eve in 1925. It was constructed when its original owner, Aymer Vinoy Laughner, lost a bet to golf great, Walter Hagen. The rooms cost $20 a night which made it the most expensive hotel in Florida at that time. It underwent a renovation in 1992. The wedding cake definitely fit this affair. It looked very majestic on the base that it was placed. It was three layers of classic elegance. But the cake was not the only elegant thing. The table setting was fabulous with the gold plates. The centerpieces were also incredible. Heather and Jeremy had an amazing wedding. They had the ceremony and the reception in close proximity which was a big plus for planning and transportation. However, their wedding was elegant and classic. They will treasure this day for the rest of their lives.
