Vintage New York Beach Wedding
The perfect wedding is not the same for each couple. This makes planning nuptials so much fun. But the foundation of this creativity must be the venue. It has to evoke the feeling that you want to convey. Aubrey and Andrew wanted their wedding to be beach side, whimsical and vintage. One of their friends had a summer home in Quogue, New York that was absolutely perfect.
Aubrey wore a sleeveless gown that had a jeweled waist. Her hair was worn in a bun and she chose hanging earrings which coordinated well with her waistband. It was the perfect look for the vintage theme. Andrew's suit was off white which blended in so well with the beach and the sand. Their relationship began just as casual. They were both shopping at Whole Foods and met at the strawberry display. They started by chatting and then they met for cocktails. The chemistry was there and they started dating. The rest is history. It is a simple love story and they wanted their nuptials to evoke the same laid back feeling. Aubrey and Andrew exchanged their vows on the sand under a makeshift canopy on the beach. It was composed of bamboo poles with ribbon blowing the wind. It was simply beautiful. As we said earlier, everyone has a different picture of a perfect wedding. Aubrey and Andrew selected the right venue and their dream came to life very easily. When planning your nuptials decide how you want your day to be. Throw convention to the wind if your ideas are a bit unconventional. This is your day and you want it to be a day to remember.
