Wooster Square Park Engagement Session
Some couples really have no vision for their engagement session. They only know that they want to get some great shots together. We feel that you can use nature and your ensembles to provide inspiration. We have a engagement session from New Haven, Connecticut that we think will display our thoughts perfectly.
The setting is Wooster Square Park in the midst of the Cherry Blossom season. This provided an incredible backdrop for their photos. Kat wore an adorable yellow and white polka dot dress with a cute white sweater. James wore a shirt and slacks with suspenders. His beard was the perfect compliment to his ensemble. They used cotton candy as one of their props. They obtained pictures doing very normal things. They were walking, they were sitting and they were gazing at each other. Our favorite picture was where Kat was laying on the ground in the middle of yellow petals. It is such an amazing shot. Engagement sessions are not hard but they do take a little planning. You can let nature help as James and Kat did or you could use the sights around you if it is an urban shoot. You can use props, dress in special clothes or you can simply be yourselves. The most important is that you have fun and relax. Your enjoyment will be captured in the pictures. This is the ultimate goal of a successful engagement session.
